Recycling system having function of object detection and pricing

Abstract

The present invention discloses a recycling system with object detection and pricing functions, which includes an electronic device with a touch-sensitive screen, at least one information reading device, a conveyor mechanism, and a machine vision device. The machine vision device is configured to perform object detection on multiple recyclable items transferred by the conveyor mechanism, thereby calculating the total quantity of the recyclable items. According to the present invention, the electronic device converts the total quantity of the recyclable items into a corresponding reward and displays multiple reward redemption options on the touch-sensitive screen for user selection. After the user selects one of the reward options, such as receiving points, receiving currency, or donating to charity, the electronic device executes the corresponding process. Thus, this recycling system enables the rapid recycling and reward feedback of recyclable materials such as PET bottles, plastic containers, plastic sheets, wastepaper containers, aluminum / iron containers, and pesticide waste containers. As a result, it improves both the recycling efficiency of recyclable items and user participation.
