Abstract

The objective of this invention is to provide a material for lithium-ion secondary batteries that exhibits excellent discharge capacity retention. Furthermore, this objective is achieved by using an inorganic oxide powder containing, by mass percent (calculated as oxides): 4.0% to 6.0% Li₂O; 3.0% to 9.0% Al₂O₃; 31.0% to 40.0% TiO₂; 49.0% to 57.0% P₂O₅; a BET specific surface area of ​​8 m² / g or more to 35 m² / g or less; and an HF trapping capacity of 2.0 or more to 9.0 or less.
