Power connector and power plug interface

Abstract

The present invention discloses a power connector and a power plug interface. The power connector includes an insulating housing having a mating slot and two retaining slots behind the mating slot, and two power terminals retained in the retaining slots respectively. Each of the terminals includes a retaining portions retained in the retaining slot and plural elastic arms extending forwards with contacting portions protruding into the mating slot. A retaining plate is attached to the terminal and retain in the retaining slot. Plural additional elastic arms extend from the retaining plate and have plural additional contacting portions protruding into the mating slot， thereby adding more current paths.
