Abstract
The present invention discloses a card edge connector, including a base portion and a stop tab. The base portion includes a slot for receiving a board card. The stop tab is movably connected to the base portion along a first direction and includes a stop protrusion. The stop tab can move between a locked position and an unlocked position. When the stop tab is in the locked position, at least a portion of the stop protrusion overlaps with the slot along a second direction, thereby restricting the board card from disengaging from the slot. When the stop tab is in the unlocked position, the stop protrusion is retracted away from the slot and separates from the board card. The second direction is the insertion direction of the slot, and the first direction is perpendicular to the second direction.
