Abstract
This invention provides a resin composition for a motor stator overall sealing, capable of forming a sealing material with high thermal conductivity and toughness, suitable for overall sealing of the stator, and a motor stator using the same. The resin composition for a motor stator overall sealing of this invention comprises (A) epoxy resin, (B) phenolic resin curing agent, (C) alumina, and (D) silicon dioxide, wherein the content of (C) alumina is 70-85% by mass. For a test piece of the cured material obtained by heating the above resin composition at 175°C for 8 hours, in a three-point bending test according to the bending test method specified in JIS K 6911:2006 5.17.1, the displacement of the pressure wedge at the point of breakage of the test piece is defined as the breakage point displacement, and the breakage point displacement is 1.0 mm or more.
