Motor control device, control method and program

Abstract

A motor control device, a washing machine control method, and a program are provided that can reduce the risk of the motor voltage reaching saturation and suppress excessive or insufficient current flowing in the direction of the motor's magnetic flux. The motor control device includes a control unit for controlling the rotation of the motor. The control unit performs the following controls: detecting a saturation margin, which is an index representing the margin until the motor voltage reaches saturation; adjusting a target voltage of the motor's back electromotive force based on the saturation margin; and controlling the current flowing in the direction of the motor's magnetic flux to make the motor's back electromotive force match the target voltage.
