A communication method and apparatus

Abstract

A communication method and apparatus are provided. In the method, a CPU usage quantity and a CPU occupation time period that are corresponding to the first report are determined according to a first rule. The first CPU usage quantity corresponds to a first CPU usage time period, and the second CPU usage quantity corresponds to a second CPU usage time period. The first CPU usage quantity is less than or equal to a CSI calculation amount that can be supported by the UE and that is corresponding to an AI execution process. The second CPU usage quantity is less than or equal to a CSI calculation amount that can be supported by the UE and that is corresponding to a non-AI execution process. The first report may be jointly completed by processing units corresponding to the two types of CPUs. In this case, the UE and the RAN may determine, according to the first rule, the first CPU usage quantity and the first CPU occupation time period that are corresponding to the first report, and the second CPU usage quantity and the second CPU occupation time period that are corresponding to the first report. In this way, the CPU usage quantity and the CPU occupation time period are aligned, and a subsequent communication process can be completed.
