Wireless communication device and resource unit allocation method thereof

Abstract

A wireless communication device includes a communication module and a processing unit. The communication module is configured to perform RF signal transmissions and receptions. The processing unit is configured to perform the following operations: parsing the trigger-based PPDU packets received from stations in a list or multi-user PPDU packets transmitted to the stations during a period to obtain MPDU sizes respectively corresponding to the stations; calculating minimum resource unit size requirements of the stations the site the MPDU sizes and the list; when the MPDU size of a key station of the stations is normal, determining whether the resource unit sizes of the stations meet the corresponding minimum resource unit sizes requirement; and if one of the stations does not meet the corresponding minimum resource unit size requirement, removing the station from the list to update the list and performing a resource unit allocation for the remaining stations.
