Abstract

The present invention provides a display device comprising a plurality of light-emitting elements arranged in a matrix on a substrate, the plurality of light-emitting elements emitting light having different wavelengths; and each of the aforementioned light-emitting elements having: a laminated structure comprising a lower electrode, a light-emitting layer disposed on the lower electrode, an upper electrode disposed on the light-emitting layer, and a protective film disposed on the upper electrode; and a sidewall film covering the sidewall of the laminated structure; in at least two of the plurality of light-emitting elements, the thickness of the light-emitting layer increases with the wavelength of the light emitted from the light-emitting layer, the thickness of the sidewall film decreases with the wavelength of the light, and the height of the upper surface of the laminated structure relative to the upper surface of the substrate increases with the wavelength of the light.
