Expander device and installation system

Abstract

The expander device disclosed herein includes: a first bearing having a central shaft extending in the vertical direction; a second bearing disposed above the first bearing having a central shaft common to the first bearing; a base to which a first outer ring of the first bearing is fixed; a first drive device fixed to the base to transmit rotational driving force to a first inner ring of the first bearing, causing the first inner ring to rotate relative to the first outer ring around the central shaft; a second drive device fixed to the base to transmit lifting driving force to a second outer ring of the second bearing, causing the second bearing to rise or fall relative to the first bearing; a retaining part to fix the second inner ring of the second bearing for retaining a component carrier; an expander ring to fix the first inner ring; and a connecting member to connect the first inner ring and the second inner ring in a manner that restricts relative rotation between the first inner ring and the second inner ring and allows relative rising or falling.
