Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] This invention relates to women's underwear, and more particularly to a large-cup bra that provides support, comfort, and stability. [Previous Technology]
[0002] Breast size is related to physique and hormones. Changes in nutrition and eating habits have also increased the proportion of modern women with full and rounded figures. The population with large cup sizes is increasing. Although large cup breasts have an aesthetically pleasing effect, their weight and volume can easily cause the breasts to sag and spread outwards. Especially when walking or running, the large amplitude of swaying and strong centrifugal force can easily cause damage and discomfort to the breasts. The aforementioned large cup size mainly refers to breasts of F cup or above. The weight of breasts is about 1390g for an F cup, about 2200g for a G cup, and about 3000g for an H cup. As the cup size increases, the breasts will sag downwards and even exceed the nipple line.
[0003] However, the functions of most large-cup bras on the market are similar to those of regular-cup bras, which primarily aim to enhance and lift the breasts. Therefore, the designs are mostly similar to regular-cup bras, with reduced cup volume and increased lateral support to create a breast-enhancing effect. This reduction in volume is usually achieved by simply decreasing the pleats between the cups to lower the cup volume, thereby lifting and lifting the breasts. However, women with large cup sizes are not primarily concerned with emphasizing breast size; they prioritize comfort and desire products that provide coverage, support, and stability. Therefore, large-cup bras require a greater lifting force. The center of gravity of large cups is different from that of regular cups, and there are no bras on the market that solve this problem. They cannot truly meet the real needs of consumers with large cups. Consumers with large cups who wear unsuitable bras for a long time will not only fail to effectively lift and stabilize their breasts, but also, as shown in Figure 10, because large cup breasts are mostly papaya-shaped, with little flesh on the upper chest after sagging, it is easy to create a gap 91 between the breast and the cup 90 after wearing a bra. The breast cannot be fully covered and contained within the cup 90, as shown in Figure 11. In addition, the front center point 92 of the bra is suspended above the breast, which can easily cause uncomfortable swaying and displacement of the breasts when walking, sitting or lying down.
[0004] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 12, the lower edge of the platform 93 of the prior art large cup bra is relatively straight and inelastic, and the side fabric 94 extends downwards. When worn, the tension of the side fabric 94 will be directed downwards, making it impossible to smoothly pull the underwire 95 open to accommodate the breasts. Moreover, the downward tension will disperse the concentrated lifting force of the breasts. Therefore, the large cup bra made in the prior art based on the thinking and structure of general cup bras has the aforementioned problems and shortcomings in its overall structure, which need to be improved. [Summary of the Invention]
[0005] In view of the shortcomings of the prior art, the present invention provides a large cup bra, which achieves the purpose of stably and securely accommodating large cup breasts by raising the cup pleats and using a multi-piece structure with arc-shaped connecting edges.
[0006] To achieve the above-mentioned objective, the technical means adopted in this invention is to design a large-cup bra, which includes: A bra body having two cups connected to each other by a platform. Each cup includes an upper piece, an inner piece, a lower piece, and an outer piece. The upper piece is a quadrilateral piece located above the cup. The lower piece is a quadrilateral piece having an upper and a lower edge opposite each other, and an inner and an outer edge opposite each other. The upper edge is connected to the upper piece, and the lower edge is connected to the platform. The inner and outer edges are outwardly protruding arc-shaped edges. The inner piece is a triangular piece including a first edge, a second edge, and a third edge. The first edge is connected to the platform, the second edge is an outwardly protruding arc-shaped edge and connected to the inner edge, and the third edge is connected to the upper piece. The outer piece is a pentagonal piece and connected to the upper piece, the lower piece, the platform, and the shoulder strap. The side of the outer piece connected to the lower piece is an outwardly protruding arc-shaped edge. Two side panels, each connected to the platform; two shoulder straps, each end of which is connected to the cup and one of the side panels.
[0007] Further, in the large-cup bra, there is an inner lower connection point between the first side and the second side, and an inner upper connection point between the second side and the third side. The inner upper connection point and the inner lower connection point are connected to form a first inner connecting line. The second side is located at a position approximately 1 / 3 of the length of the second side from the inner upper connection point toward the inner lower connection point. The inner fixing point and the inner upper connection point are connected to form a second inner connecting line. The first inner connecting line and the second inner connecting line have an inner angle, and the angle of the inner angle is in the range of 8 to 20 degrees.
[0008] Further, in the large-cup bra, there is a first fixing point between the lower outer edge and the upper edge, and a second fixing point between the lower outer edge and the lower edge. The first fixing point and the second fixing point are connected to form a first lower connecting line. The lower outer edge is positioned at a position approximately 1 / 3 of the length of the lower outer edge from the first fixing point toward the second fixing point. The first fixing point and the lower fixing point are imaginarily connected to form a second lower connecting line. The first lower connecting line and the second lower connecting line have a lower angle between them, and the angle range of the lower angle is 2 to 10 degrees.
[0009] Further, in the large-cup bra, the side fabric has an upper edge and a lower edge that are opposite to each other. The upper edge is connected to the upper end of the back hook and forms an upper end point. One end of the lower edge is connected to the platform, and the other end of the lower edge is connected to the lower end of the back hook and forms a lower end point. The platform is located between the two cups and has a front upper center point and a front lower center point. The front upper center point and the upper end point are connected to form an upper reference line, and the front lower center point and the lower end point are connected to form a lower reference line. The upper reference line and the lower reference line are parallel to each other.
[0010] Further, in the large cup bra, the side fabric has a lower edge, one end of which is connected to the platform, and the other end of which is connected to the lower end of the back hook and forms a lower endpoint. The platform is located between the two cups and has a front lower center point. The front lower center point and the lower endpoint are connected to form a lower reference line. The lower reference line passes through the inner piece and the lower piece.
[0011] Furthermore, in the large-cup bra, the platform located at the lower edge of the two cups is in the shape of a concave arc.
[0012] Furthermore, in the large-cup bra, the distance between the two shoulder straps gradually decreases from the two cups toward the two side panels.
[0013] Furthermore, in the large cup bra, each cup and each shoulder strap form a front connection point, and the shoulder strap and the side fabric form a back connection point, and the front connection point and the back connection point are on the same horizontal line.
[0014] The advantage of this invention lies in the fact that, through the structure of the bra cup consisting of four pieces—upper, inner, lower, and outer—it can increase volume and depth compared to existing technologies, allowing large, sagging breasts to be fully accommodated and supported. The upper piece makes the upper breast fit the bra more snugly, reducing gaps. The lower cup, formed by the inner and lower pieces, provides sufficient volume. Furthermore, the cup's shape, formed by the large unfolding of the pleats, is arc-shaped, providing a larger unfolding range without creating a pointed or stiff shape. This product is designed for women with large cup sizes, as it can make their breasts appear unnatural. The inner and lower sections are the optimal nipple placement areas. The rounded arc structure allows the nipple to be completely and securely positioned in this area, providing a larger allowable range for nipple placement. This makes it easier for users to position the nipple. When the nipple position is fixed, wearing this product not only improves comfort but also creates a visually lifting effect on the breasts. Overall, it offers excellent support, minimal movement, high stability, even body shape, complete coverage, and shoulder pressure relief.
[0015] Furthermore, since the height of the lower edge of the side fabric is higher than the height of the bottom of the cup, and the shape of the platform at the lower edge of the cup is a concave arc to conform to the shape of the human torso, when wearing it, the underwire can be horizontally and smoothly stretched from front to back through the side fabric to increase the cup volume, generate a balanced tension and stabilize the torso line, so that large cup breasts can be more completely accommodated in the cup.
Implementation Method
[0016] The following, in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and preferred embodiments of the present invention, further illustrates the technical means adopted by the present invention to achieve the intended inventive objective.
[0017] Please refer to Figure 1. The large-cup bra of the present invention includes a bra body 10, two side fabrics 20 and two shoulder straps 30.
[0018] Please refer to Figures 1 to 3. The bra body 10 has two cups 11, which are connected by a platform 12. One end of each cup 11 is connected to one end of one of the shoulder straps 30, forming a front connection point 13. Each cup 11 is made of four pieces sewn together using tailoring techniques, including an upper piece 14, an inner piece 15, a lower piece 16, and an outer piece 17. The upper piece 14 is a quadrilateral piece and is located above the cups 11. Specifically, it constitutes the upper part of the bra. The cup 11 is made of a lightweight, breathable fabric with some elasticity, but is not limited to this. The inner piece 15 is a triangular piece made of a lightweight, breathable fabric with some elasticity, but is not limited to this. It has a first side 151, a second side 152, and a third side 153 in sequence. The first side 151 is connected to the platform 12 and is located near the front center of the bra body 10, adjacent to the cup 11. The second side 152 is an outwardly protruding arc-shaped edge. Three sides 153 are connected to the upper piece 14. There is an inner lower connection point 154 between the first side 151 and the second side 152. There is an inner upper connection point 155 between the second side 152 and the third side 153. The inner upper connection point 155 and the inner lower connection point 154 are imaginarily connected to form a first inner connection line 156. Approximately one-third of the length of the second side 152 from the inner upper connection point 155 towards the inner lower connection point 154 is an inner fixed point 157. A second inner connecting line 158 is formed by imaginary connection between fixed point 157 and inner upper connecting point 155. There is an inner angle A between the first inner connecting line 156 and the second inner connecting line 158. The preferred angle range of the inner angle A is 8 to 20 degrees. Generally speaking, if the inner angle A is less than 8 degrees, it is easy to cause the cup depth to be shallow and unable to cover the breast and the cup to form an unnatural pointed shape. If the inner angle A is greater than 20 degrees, it will cause the cup volume to be too large and unable to support the breast, resulting in the breast spreading outward and sagging.
[0019] The lower piece 16 is a quadrilateral piece made of a lightweight, breathable fabric with a certain degree of elasticity, but not limited thereto. It has an upper edge 161 and a lower edge 162 that are opposite each other, and an inner edge 163 and an outer edge 164 that are opposite each other. The upper edge 161 is sewn to the upper piece 14, and the lower edge 162 is sewn to the platform 12. The shape of the lower inner edge 163 corresponds to the shape of the second edge 152, both being outwardly protruding arc edges. The lower inner edge 163 and the second edge 152 are symmetrical with the same shape. The lower inner edge 163 of the lower piece 16 is sewn to the second edge 152 of the inner piece 15. The lower outer edge 164 is an outwardly protruding arc edge, and it has a first fixing point 165 between it and the upper edge 161. The lower outer edge 164 and the lower edge 162 are... There is a second fixing point 166 between the first fixing point 165 and the second fixing point 166. The first fixing point 165 and the second fixing point 166 are imaginarily connected to form a first lower connecting line 167. The lower outer edge 164 is located at a position about 1 / 3 of the length of the lower outer edge 164 from the first fixing point 165 toward the second fixing point 166, which is a lower fixing point 168. The first fixing point 165 and the lower fixing point 168 are imaginarily connected to form a second lower connecting line 169. There is a lower angle B between the first lower connecting line 167 and the second lower connecting line 169. The preferred angle range of the lower angle B is 2 to 10 degrees. Generally speaking, if the lower angle B is less than 2 degrees, it is easy to cause the cup depth to be shallow and unable to cover the breast and the cup to form an unnatural pointed shape. If the lower angle B is greater than 10 degrees, it will cause the cup volume to be too large and unable to support the breast, causing the breast to spread outward and sag.
[0020] The outer piece 17 is a pentagonal piece, and the material used is non-elastic fabric, but not limited to this. It is connected to the upper piece 14, the lower piece 16, the base 12 and the shoulder strap 30. The side of the outer piece 17 connected to the lower piece 16 is an arc edge. In summary, the upper piece 14 constitutes the upper structure of the cup 11, the inner piece 15 and the lower piece 16 constitute the lower structure of the cup 11, and the outer piece 17 constitutes the side structure of the cup 11.
[0021] Please refer to Figure 4. One end of the side fabric 20 is connected to the platform 12, and the other end of the side fabric 20 has a back hook 21. The end of the side fabric 20 connected to the platform 12 and the back hook 21 are connected to the other end of the shoulder strap 30, forming a rear connection point 22. The front connection point 13 and the rear connection point 22 are preferably located on the same horizontal line, thereby achieving the effect of balanced force distribution and increasing comfort. However, this is not a limitation. In this embodiment, the side fabric 20 is a long sheet with an upper edge 23 and a lower edge 24 that are opposite to each other. One end of the upper edge 23 is connected to the upper end of the platform 12, and the other end of the upper edge 23 is connected to the upper end of the back hook 21, forming an upper end point 231. The lower edge 24 is connected to the upper end of the platform 12. One end of the 4 is connected to the platform 12, and the other end of the lower edge 24 is connected to the lower end of the back hook 21 and forms a lower end point 241. The upper and lower ends of the platform 12 located between the two cups 11 have a front upper center point 121 and a front lower center point 122, respectively. The imaginary line between the front upper center point 121 and the upper end point 231 is an upper reference line 25, and the imaginary line between the front lower center point 122 and the lower end point 241 is a lower reference line 26. In a preferred embodiment, the upper reference line 25 and the lower reference line 26 are parallel to each other, and the lower reference line 26 passes through the inner piece 15 and the lower piece 16 of the cup 11. The shape of the platform 12 located at the lower edge 24 of the cup 11 is a concave arc shape, but it is not limited thereto.
[0022] Please refer to Figures 5 and 6 for schematic diagrams of the shoulder strap 30 after being worn on the human body. In this embodiment, the shoulder strap 30 is wide, which means that the width of the shoulder strap 30 is greater than 2.2cm, but it is not limited to this. The human shoulder has a shoulder point, which is located in the center of the shoulder. When worn, the shoulder strap 30 will pass through the shoulder point. Specifically, the end of the shoulder strap 30 connected to the side fabric 20 is adjacent to the back hook 21, so that the distance between the two shoulder straps 30 gradually decreases from the front to the back, but it is not limited to this.
[0023] When wearing this invention, please refer to Figures 2 and 7. The cup 11 structure, composed of four pieces—upper piece 14, inner piece 15, lower piece 16, and outer piece 17—increases volume and depth compared to existing technologies. This allows large, sagging breasts to be fully accommodated, lifted, and covered. The upper piece 14 makes the upper breast fit the bra more snugly, reducing gaps. The lower cup, composed of the inner piece 15 and lower piece 16, provides sufficient volume. Furthermore, the cup 11, formed by the large unfolding of the pleats, has an arc shape. Compared to existing technologies, this not only provides a larger unfolding range but also prevents the cup 11 from developing a pointed shape. A pointed cup shape can actually make the breasts of large-cup women appear unnatural, and the nipples... The nipple placement is not stable in the space near the tip and will move with body movements, causing discomfort. The area about 1-5cm down from the upper piece 14 where the inner piece 15 and the lower piece 16 connect is the optimal nipple placement position. The nipple is not deliberately made to protrude, but the rounded arc structure allows the nipple to be completely and stably positioned in this area. Compared with the existing technology, it has a larger allowable range for nipple placement, and the user can more easily position the nipple. When the nipple position is fixed, wearing this invention not only improves comfort, but also produces a visual effect of lifting the chest. Overall, it has the effects of sufficient support, small sway, high stability, uniform body shape, complete coverage and shoulder pressure relief.
[0024] In the aforementioned process, please refer to Figure 8. Since the height of the lower edge 24 of the side fabric 20 is higher than the height of the bottom of the cup 11, and the shape of the platform 12 located at the lower edge of the cup 11 is a concave arc to conform to the shape of the human torso, when wearing it, the underwire (not shown in the figure) can be horizontally and smoothly stretched and the volume of the cup 11 can be increased through the side fabric 20 from front to back, generating a balanced pulling force and stabilizing the torso line, so that the breasts of large cups can be more completely accommodated in the cup 11. In contrast, the lower edge of the side fabric in the prior art is lower than the lower edge of the cup, and has no effect or purpose of stretching the underwire.
[0025] Please refer to Figure 9, where Figures 9-1 to 9-4 are schematic diagrams of wearing the present invention, and Figures 9-5 to 9-8 are schematic diagrams of wearing the prior art. A comparison of Figures 9-1 and 9-5 shows that the front upper center point 121 of the present invention is located approximately in the center of the chest valley line after wearing, while the front center height of the prior art is lower, and sometimes even too high. A lower front center height easily leads to exposure and lack of coverage, while a higher front center height causes discomfort due to pressure. A comparison of Figures 9-2 and 9-6 shows that the present invention… The upper piece 14 of the invention fits snugly against the upper chest after being worn, while the prior art does not fit snugly and produces gaps. As can be seen from the comparison of Figures 9-3 and 9-7, the dotted line is the valley line 40 of the invention. The invention fits flat against the valley line 40 after being worn, while the prior art protrudes from the valley line 40 after being worn, and cannot make the front center fit snugly against the valley. As can be seen from the comparison of Figures 9-4 and 9-8, the cup outline of the invention is rounded and more natural after being worn, while the cup outline of the prior art is more unnatural, with an upwardly shaped triangular shape.
[0026] The above description is only a preferred embodiment of the present invention and is not intended to limit the present invention in any way. Although the present invention has been disclosed above with reference to preferred embodiments, it is not intended to limit the present invention. Anyone skilled in the art can make some modifications or alterations to the above-disclosed technical content as equivalent embodiments without departing from the scope of the technical solution of the present invention.
