Pest Repellent Combination

Abstract

This invention relates to an insect repellent composition that, when applied to the skin, not only provides a long-lasting and excellent repellent effect but also delivers a pleasant cooling sensation without any unpleasant irritation or burning. Specifically, this invention provides an insect repellent composition containing the following components (A) to (C): (A) 13% to 50% by mass of one or more non-volatile liquid oils selected from silicone oil, ester oil, ether oil, hydrocarbon oil, aliphatic alcohol, and polyol; (B) hydrophilic microparticles containing silica particles and / or silicate particles with a median volume particle size of 1 μm to 40 μm; (C) menthol; and the mass ratio ((C) / (A)) of component (C) to component (A) is 0.0008 to 0.45.
