Abstract

A pharmaceutical composition intended for use in improving or reducing cardiovascular disease comprises a covalently 3CL protease inhibitor and ritonavir. This composition effectively reduces the incidence of cardiovascular disease in individuals with autoimmune rheumatic disease (AIRD) after SARS-CoV-2 infection. Further research found that individuals with AIRD who take this composition within 24 hours of being diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 achieve the best therapeutic effect.
