Abstract

The objective of the present invention is to provide a method of producing ophthalmic aqueous solution and ocular lens that comprise a poorly water-soluble drug in a homogeneous dissolved state. The objective is achieved by a method of producing ophthalmic aqueous solution, comprising mixing a poorly water-soluble drug, such as tranilast, rebamipide, indomethacin and dexamethasone, with a buffered aqueous solution to obtain a dispersion of poorly water-soluble drug; and subjecting the dispersion to high-temperature and high-pressure treatment to obtain an ophthalmic aqueous solution containing the poorly water-soluble drug.
