Protection agent and use thereof

Abstract

The present invention discloses a protection agent for integration in a medical sterilization packaging material, wherein the medical sterilization packaging material comprises a porous substrate formed with a plurality of sterilization indicators thereon and a transparent film in connection with the porous substrate. To be specific, the protection agent is transferred onto the porous substrate through flexography process, so as to form a plurality of protection films covering the plurality of sterilization indicators, respectively. As a result, the protection film protects the sterilization indicator from contacting environmental interfering substances, thereby ensuring that the sterilization indicator can change its color so as to correctly reflect the sterilization state of the medical device that is enclosed in the medical sterilization packaging material for receiving a sterilization treatment. Besides, the sterilization indicator is able to perform its function normally because of the fact that the protection film does not react with the sterilization indicator.
