Fiber-reinforced resin molded articles and their manufacturing methods

Abstract

This invention relates to a fiber-reinforced resin molded body formed by integrally molding a semi-prepreg 7, on which a first thermoplastic resin is attached to the surface of a reinforcing fiber sheet, and a second thermoplastic resin. The semi-prepreg 7 is shaped by extrusion of the second thermoplastic resin, and the first thermoplastic resin is impregnated within the reinforcing fiber sheet by extrusion of the second thermoplastic resin, thus integrating the first and second thermoplastic resins. Ribs 9 and 10 may be further provided on the opposite side of the fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin layer of the fiber-reinforced resin molded body. Therefore, this invention provides a fiber-reinforced resin molded body with high integrity between the resin and the reinforcing fiber, and a method for manufacturing the same. none
