Equipment and methods for making 3D bags

Abstract

This invention provides a manufacturing equipment and method for three-dimensional bags. The equipment includes a frame, a feeding station, a bag opening folding station, and a forming station. The feeding station feeds sheet material one sheet at a time via a sheet material feeding device. The bag opening folding station uses a bag opening folding device to fold both sides of the sheet material along its length to form a bag opening fold, with at least one fold opening open at a preset angle. The forming station uses a bag body forming mechanism to fold the sheet material to form a bag body, a folding and insertion mechanism to drag the folded bag opening for misalignment and insertion, and a bag body sealing mechanism to seal the bag. The manufacturing method includes sheet material feeding, head card placement, handle fixing, bag opening folding, bag body forming, folding and insertion, bag body sealing, bag folding, and bottom card placement. This equipment and method simplify the production process, improve production efficiency and yield, ensure the aesthetics and structural stability of the bag, and are compact, occupying little space to meet manufacturers' land requirements. Furthermore, it prevents the formed bag from being stretched and damaged, extending its service life.
