Fast light / redox dual cure two part structural adhesive

Abstract

The present invention relates to a two-part adhesive for bonding components onto a substrate using a combination of light curing and redox curing to reduce processing time. A fluorescent dye is added to the adhesive to increase the light-curing rate without affecting the final bonding strength by redox curing. The adhesive may be used to bond magnets to substrates such as C5 coasted steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or anodized aluminum.
