Abstract

This invention provides a wheel steering device that is simple in structure, can suppress the increase in manufacturing cost and weight, can suppress the compression of the installation space in the vehicle body, and can easily adjust the wheel direction. In the wheel steering device (100) having a steering unit (110) and a control unit, the steering unit (110) has: a main body (111); a steering transmission component (112) that connects the wheel (T1) to the main body (111) so that it can rotate relative to the main body (111); and a steering mechanism (113). The steering mechanism (113) has: a transmission direct-acting body (114); a transmission rotating body (115) that contacts the transmission direct-acting body (114) to perform forward and backward operations; and a drive source (116) that can be rotatably connected to the transmission rotating body (115). The steering transmission component (112) is provided with a transmission connecting shaft (120). One end of the transmission direct-acting body (114) is connected to the transmission connecting part (112d) through the transmission connecting shaft (120). The drive source (116) is connected to the main body (111). The control unit is configured to control the rotation of the transmission rotating body (115).
