Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention provides a wind-up and unwinding mechanism based on a breathable and substrate protective film, specifically a mechanism that can wind or unwind a substrate, a base plate, a protective film, and a side strip in a unified manner. After winding, the substrate protective film and side strip can be arranged on the base plate to facilitate overall processing. After processing, when unwinding, the substrate, base plate, protective film, and side strip can be separated to facilitate output of the processed substrate. Prior Art
[0002] The sheet-like substrate is usually rolled up on a belt, which is convenient for storage, stacking and transportation. If the substrate needs to be exported for processing or aging, the belt is exported together with the substrate. The substrate can then be separated from the belt for subsequent use. Therefore, this process is often used for intermediate products such as printed circuit boards.
[0003] The existing mechanism for laminating the substrate and the tape and the roller arrangement for winding them up is relatively complicated. Usually, only a substrate reel device and a tape reel device are provided to transport the substrate and the tape respectively. A combined reel is provided to reel up the substrate and the tape together. However, this arrangement is only suitable for a simple combination of the substrate and the tape. Moreover, since the substrate and the tape are both arranged in a flat strip shape, after reeling, the substrate will adhere to the upper tape after reeling, affecting its flatness. Moreover, during the curing process, the gas will not be able to contact the end face of the substrate, which will easily lead to the problem of incomplete curing.
[0004] Another conventional method is to provide a rewinding device which is equipped with a steel belt rewinding device to arrange steel belts on both sides of the substrate to prevent the substrate from adhering to the upper belt. However, this configuration still has problems such as uneven curing and heating because there is no gap between the belt and the steel belt after rewinding. In addition, the high-temperature gas cannot flow to the surface of the substrate during the curing process. In addition, the existing rewinding device is mostly one-way, that is, it can only rewind the substrate and the belt, and cannot effectively perform the curing and heating after rewinding. Separation. In addition, because the material of the strip may have slight unevenness in thickness, elastic modulus, or structure, when stretched, the uneven parts will lead to uneven stress distribution, resulting in local stress concentration and causing wrinkles. Conventional configurations are unable to adjust the winding position and stress according to the thickness of the substrate, resulting in unevenness of the substrate during the process of laminating the strip. The aforementioned all lead to concerns about uneven substrate surface and poor quality, which will affect subsequent processing and the quality of the output product.
[0005] In view of this, we, the inventors, have devoted ourselves to further research on the winding and unwinding configuration of the substrate, as well as the winding and protection of the substrate for uniform processing. We have also embarked on research and development and improvements, hoping to come up with a better invention to solve the above-mentioned problems. After continuous testing and modification, the present invention was born. Summary of the Invention

[0015] According to the above-mentioned winding and unwinding mechanism based on the breathable and substrate protective film, the protective film is a PI (Polyimide) film.
[0016] From the above description and configuration, it is apparent that the present invention has the following advantages and effects, which are described in detail below:
[0017] 1. The present invention utilizes a winding device, substrate conveying wheels, edge strip conveying wheels, base material conveying wheels, and protective film conveying wheels to respectively wind up the substrate, edge strip, base material, and protective film in a corresponding combination on the winding device. After processing the substrate, the winding device can be reversed to separate and unwind the substrate, edge strip, base material, and protective film, thereby improving the overall efficiency of the combined winding and unwinding process of the present invention.
[0018] 2. The configuration of the present invention can form ventilation portions at both lateral ends of the substrate, and the substrate can be disposed on one end surface of the substrate between the ventilation portions. The protective film can be at least partially pressed against both sides of the substrate. Finally, the protective film can be pressed against the protective film through the edge strips. With this configuration, when the substrate is processed (e.g., cured), the rolled substrate, together with the edge strips, substrate, and protective film, can be directly baked at high temperature. The hot air during baking can pass through the ventilation portions of the rolled and stacked substrates and directly contact the substrate, allowing the substrate to be evenly heated and cured. The provision of the protective film can prevent the high-temperature airflow from affecting the edges of the substrate, causing warping and unevenness, or warping that may cause adhesion to adjacent substrates. This can ensure the flatness and stability of the substrate during the curing process, thereby improving the quality and precision of the subsequent finished product.
[0019] 3. The present invention utilizes a proximity wheel to adjust the distance from the unwinding device according to the thickness of the substrate or protective film. This helps ensure that the substrate is firmly attached to the base plate and prevents wrinkles from forming during the transfer process, thereby further improving the flatness and quality of the substrate before and after processing. [0021] Regarding the technical means of our inventors, several preferred embodiments are described in detail below with reference to the drawings so that you can have a deeper understanding and recognition of the present invention.
[0022] Please refer to Figures 1 and 2. The present invention is a winding and unwinding mechanism based on a breathable and substrate protective film, which includes:
[0023] A winding and unwinding device 1, which can be configured as an actively or passively driven roller and can rotate in a forward or reverse direction to wind or unwind a material;
[0024] A substrate conveying wheel 2, which unwinds a substrate 21 onto the unwinding device 1 at one end thereof, and the substrate 21 is provided with at least one vent 211 at at least one lateral end thereof. In one embodiment, the substrate 21 may be configured as a steel belt, and the vent 211 may be pre-formed on both lateral sides thereof.
[0025] In one embodiment, the vent portion 211 may be configured as a plurality of raised walls, and the raised walls may be formed by dotting or direct forming, and are correspondingly provided on both sides of the substrate 21. The raised walls may be provided on the vent portion 211 in a grid, staggered, or array manner, with gaps 212 between different raised walls.
[0026] A side strip conveying wheel 3 is arranged at one end of the winding device 1 and winds two side strips 31 from one end. The side strips 31 are used to be correspondingly arranged on both sides of the substrate 21 in the long end direction and are located on one end surface of the substrate 21 relative to the ventilation portion 211 and corresponding to the position of the ventilation portion 211.
[0027] A substrate conveying wheel 4 has one end corresponding to the substrate 41 that is unwound by the unwinding device 1. The substrate 41 is configured to be disposed at an end surface of the substrate 21. In one embodiment, the substrate 41 can be any material that needs to be exported, produced, or aged to facilitate use as a final product or intermediate product. Therefore, the substrate 41 can be a metal or polymer material, such as copper foil, aluminum, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE), polyimide (PI), or liquid crystal polymer (LCP). However, these are examples only and are not intended to be limiting. The substrate 41 is configured to be disposed between the vents 211 on both sides of the substrate 21. In one embodiment, the substrate 41 can be disposed at an end surface of the substrate 21 opposite the vent 211. However, this is only an example and is not intended to be limiting.
[0028] a protective film conveying wheel 5 disposed at one end of the unwinding device 1 and configured to convey two protective films 51 from one end of the edge strip conveying wheel 3 or one end of the substrate conveying wheel 4, respectively, to the unwinding device 1. The protective films 51 are configured to be at least partially disposed on both sides of the substrate 41, while the edge strip 31 at least partially presses against the side of the protective films 51 facing the substrate 41. In one embodiment, the protective films 51 may be configured as PI (Polyimide) film, but this is for illustration only and is not limiting.
[0029] In terms of configuration, the unwinding device 1, the substrate conveying wheel 2, the edge strip conveying wheel 3, the substrate conveying wheel 4, and the protective film conveying wheel 5 are pivotally mounted on a base 6. In one embodiment, the edge strip conveying wheel 3 and the protective film conveying wheel 5 are located at the upper end of the unwinding device 1; the substrate conveying wheel 4 is disposed at one lateral end of the unwinding device 1, and the substrate conveying wheel 2 is located at the lower end of the unwinding device 1, thereby improving the smoothness of winding and unwinding.
[0030] Thus, in a reeling state, as shown in FIG. 1 , the substrate conveying wheel 2 , the edge strip conveying wheel 3 , the substrate conveying wheel 4 , and the protective film conveying wheel 5 are conveyed toward the unwinding device 1 . When the protective film 51 is conveyed along the dotted path and the substrate 41 is conveyed along the solid path, the substrate 41 can be first bonded to the substrate 21 , and the protective film 51 and the edge strip 31 can then cover and protect the substrate 41 in the unwinding device 1 . In another embodiment, if both the protective film 51 and the substrate 41 are conveyed along the solid path, or if both the protective film 51 and the substrate 41 are conveyed along the dotted path, the substrate 41 and the protective film 51 can be simultaneously bonded to the substrate 21 , and then the protective film 51 can be pressed against the protective film 51 through the edge strip 31 . Thus, the substrate 41 , the protective film 51 , and the edge strip 31 can be arranged on the substrate 21 to form a material, as shown in FIG. 2 to 4 , and reeled up in the unwinding device 1 accordingly.
[0031] After the materials are rolled up, they will form a stacked state as shown in FIG. 4 , so that the substrate 41 is arranged on the lower end surface of the base plate 21, and the protective films 51 on both sides are directly covered at the edges of the substrate 41, and the protective films 51 are pressed by the edge strips 31 at the end opposite to the base plate 41. Therefore, it can be seen that the base plate 21 forms a vent 211 at the upper end surface, and the base plate 41, the protective film 51 and the edge strips 31 are arranged at the lower end. When the materials are stacked, the edge strips 31 will press against the top of the vent 211 of the lower base plate 21 after stacking, so as to position the edge strips 31 and at the same time, the protective film 51 can effectively protect the edge of the base plate 41. When the curing process is carried out, the rolled-up materials or the unwinding device 1 can be placed in an oven (not shown) for high-temperature curing, and there is high-temperature gas flowing inside the oven. Due to the provision of the vent portion 211 of the present invention, airflow can enter between the stacked substrates 21 through the side ends of the material, allowing it to directly contact the surface of the substrate 41, allowing the substrate 41 to be evenly cured and improving the efficiency of air heat convection. During or after the curing process, it can be evenly heated or cooled, making it less likely that the substrate 41 will become uneven due to uneven heating or cooling. In addition, because the protective film 51 covers the side edges of the substrate 41 and is also pressed by the edge strips 31, the airflow cannot directly act on the side ends of the substrate 41 during its flow. This effectively prevents the substrate 41 from warping or adhering to adjacent substrates due to the flow force of the airflow. This effectively maintains the quality, flatness, and integrity of the substrate 41, thereby improving the stability of the substrate 41 during material feeding and the quality and precision of the finished product.
[0032] When the substrate 41 needs to be separated after processing, the unwinding device 1 can be restored to the base 6 and can enter an unwinding state. As shown in Figure 5, the unwinding device 1 is driven in the reverse direction to unwind the substrate 21, the edge strip 31, the substrate 41 and the protective film 51 to the substrate conveying wheel 2, the edge strip conveying wheel 3, the substrate conveying wheel 4 and the protective film conveying wheel 5 respectively. The processed substrate 41 can be rewound to the substrate conveying wheel 4 to facilitate its subsequent processing flow, and the unwound substrate 21, edge strip 31 and protective film 51 can be selectively reused.
[0033] In a preferred embodiment, in order to cope with the different thicknesses of the substrate 41 and to ensure its flatness when it is rolled up and attached to the substrate 41, in one embodiment, a proximity wheel 7 can be further configured, which is movably configured on the base 6 and is located on one side of the unwinding device 1 and can move toward or away from the unwinding device 1. The substrate conveying wheel 4 transfers the substrate 41 to the unwinding device 1 through the proximity wheel 7, so that the distance between the unwinding device 1 and the proximity wheel 7 is exactly equal to or slightly smaller than the thickness of the substrate 21 and the substrate 41, so that they can be flatly attached. Therefore, in one embodiment, a distance sensor (not shown) can be configured on the proximity wheel 7 to detect and adjust the moving distance of the proximity wheel 7 accordingly. This is merely an example and is not intended to be limiting. In addition, the protective film conveying wheel 5 can also transfer the protective film 51 to the unwinding device 1 through the proximity wheel 7, so that the substrate 41 can be covered by the protective film 51 when it is close to the wheel 7, and then in the unwinding device 1, the substrate 41 and the protective film 51 are bonded to the substrate 21 together. After the unwinding device 1 rolls a certain distance in the rewinding state, the edge strip 31 is pressed against one side of the protective film 51 to complete the rewinding configuration of the material. This rewinding configuration can improve the smoothness during rewinding and unwinding, and at the same time, it can ensure effective and smooth bonding according to the type and thickness of the substrate 41, thereby improving the processing accuracy of the substrate 41 and the flatness and stability during rewinding of the present invention.
