Abstract

This invention provides a method for manufacturing deuterated aromatic compounds with high production efficiency. The method involves deuterating aromatic compound raw materials to produce deuterated aromatic compounds, comprising the following steps: irradiating a mixture containing aromatic compound raw materials, a deuterium source, and an acid catalyst with microwaves while maintaining the heating temperature above 50°C.
