Abstract

One aspect of the present invention relates to a flame retardant comprising a phosphorus compound having a diphenyl ketone structure and at least two phosphorus functional groups, wherein the phosphorus functional groups are connected to each other through the diphenyl ketone structure, and wherein carbon atoms in the two aromatic rings of the diphenyl ketone structure form condensed rings by chemical bonds.
