Methods for improving the visibility of text or graphics on rubber molded bodies and rubber compositions

Abstract

This invention relates to a method for improving the legibility of text or graphics, wherein the text or graphics are embossed on a rubber molded body obtained from a rubber composition and have an uneven surface, or printed on the surface of the rubber molded body. In one embodiment, this invention relates to a method for improving the legibility of text or graphics on a rubber molded body, wherein the rubber molded body is obtained from a rubber composition, and the method is carried out by adding one or more selected from the group consisting of aliphatic amines, polyoxyethylene alkylamines, and maleate compounds to the rubber composition. Preferably, the aliphatic amine is a tertiary higher alkylamine, and the maleate compound is a polyoxyethylene alkyl alkyl maleate.
