Curable silicone composition applied for shape-memory material and shape-memory material consisting of cured body therefrom

Abstract

[Topic] This invention provides a curable polysiloxane composition capable of forming polysiloxane curables with excellent shape memory properties, and its use and applications as polysiloxane curables with excellent shape memory properties. [Solution] A curable polysiloxane composition for shape memory materials, the cured product thereof, and its uses, characterized in that the curable polysiloxane composition for shape memory materials contains: (A1) an organopolysiloxane resin having a curing reactive functional group, (A2) an organopolysiloxane resin without the curing reactive functional group, (B) a chain-like organopolysiloxane having the curing reactive functional group and being liquid or plasticized at 25°C, and (C) a curing agent, wherein the mass ratio of {(A1)+(A2)} / (B) is in the range of 1.90 to 2.50, the glass transition temperature of the cured product is above 85°C, and the cured product exhibits a yield point within 10% of elongation during tensile testing.
