Abstract

This invention discloses a polyorganosiloxane composition comprising a polyorganosiloxane containing siloxane units represented by Formula 1, wherein the content of the siloxane units represented by Formula 1 is 40 mol% or more of the total siloxane units, wherein the content of residual solvent is less than 15 ppm based on the total weight of the polyorganosiloxane composition; a method for preparing the polyorganosiloxane composition; a curable polyorganosiloxane composition; and an optical encapsulant for electronic components comprising the curable polyorganosiloxane composition. [Formula 1] (See specification for details) Disclosed are a polyorganosiloxane composition including polyorganosiloxane including a siloxane unit, represented by Formula 1 below, in a content of 40 mol% or more of total siloxane units, wherein a content of a residual solvent is less than 15 ppm based on a total weight of the composition; a method of preparing the polyorganosiloxane composition; a curable polysiloxane composition; and an optical encapsulant for electronic components including the curable polysiloxane composition.
