Abstract
The problem is to provide an inorganic particulate material composed of zinc molybdate with low levels of unburned impurities. The solution involves discovering that inorganic particulate materials composed of zinc molybdate tend to have higher density and larger particle size of unburned impurities compared to zinc molybdate, leading to the following invention. Specifically, the inorganic particulate material of the present invention, which solves the above problem, has an average particle size of 0.1 μm or more and 5.0 μm or less, a BET specific surface area of 1 m² / g or more and 20 m² / g or less, a total amount of unburned impurities composed of metallic molybdenum, metallic zinc, molybdenum oxide, and zinc oxide of 100 ppm or less, a sphericity of 0.90 or more, and is composed of a complex oxide of molybdenum and zinc.
