Abstract

The invention aims to provide an active energy line-curing peelable adhesive composition with a high proportion of carbon derived from biomass (bio-based carbon content), which leaves no residue upon peeling from the adherend and is suitable for tape cutting applications. The solution to this problem is an active energy line-curing peelable adhesive composition comprising: an acrylic adhesive polymer having active energy line reactive carbon-carbon double bonds, a photopolymerization initiator, and a crosslinking agent. The aforementioned acrylic adhesive polymer is a polymer having active energy line reactive carbon-carbon double bonds in the side chains of a (meth)acrylate copolymer. The aforementioned (meth)acrylate copolymer, as a structural unit of the copolymer, comprises structural units derived from (meth)acrylate alkyl esters having alkyl groups derived from biomass at the ester terminus, and structural units derived from monomers having functional groups. The glass transition temperature (Tg) is below -18°C, and the bio-based carbon content of the aforementioned acrylic adhesive polymer is 50% by mass or more.
