Abstract
Description
Braided tape structure with luminous function This invention relates to a braided tape structure, and more particularly to a braided tape structure with luminous function. Note that woven straps are commonly used in shoelaces, garment straps, decorative straps, pendant straps, pet leashes, and curtain cords. Shoelaces, in particular, are a frequently used everyday item, and shoes with laces are stylish and popular. With the rapid development of technology, while people pursue fashion in shoelaces, their demands for safety and convenience are also increasing. However, traditional shoelace styles, structures, and functions are relatively limited. In recent years, with the development of luminescent materials, applying these materials to woven straps to create luminescent woven straps has become a new trend. Especially when used as shoelaces, these luminescent shoelaces not only improve visibility for walkers in nighttime or low-light environments, increasing safety, but are also ideal for those who enjoy running at night. Therefore, luminescent shoelaces add both style and safety to footwear. Conventional luminescent woven tapes are made of yarn mixed with luminescent powder. This luminescent powder absorbs light energy from sunlight and lamplight during the day, and emits light at night or in low-light environments to achieve the luminescent effect. However, the luminescent powder in these conventional luminescent woven tapes gradually wears off over time, causing the luminous effect to weaken or even disappear. Furthermore, the tapes are typically quite thick, meaning only the surface luminescent powder can effectively absorb light energy, while the internal luminescent powder cannot fully absorb light energy, further affecting the durability and uniformity of the luminous effect. Another known type of luminescent strap is made of materials such as silicone, thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer, or rubber. These materials have good flexibility, and luminescent powder is added during the manufacturing process to ensure even distribution throughout the strap, achieving the luminescent effect. However, while this type of strap is flexible, its surface interference is relatively high, making it unsuitable for shoelaces that require threading and knotting. Furthermore, these materials are relatively prone to breakage, typically requiring internal reinforcing cores (such as steel wire or thread), increasing manufacturing costs and complexity. In view of the aforementioned problems, the inventor conceived the idea of creating this invention. After extensive research, trial production, and numerous revisions and improvements, the inventor finally developed this invention. This invention provides a woven tape structure with luminescent function, comprising: a flexible tape body made of a transparent flexible material, with luminescent powder uniformly distributed on its surface and interior, the flexible tape body having a thickness of at least 1 millimeter (mm); and a woven layer made of multifilament fibers woven together to cover the outer side of the flexible tape body, the woven layer having a light transmittance of more than 50% in whole or in part; thereby enabling the luminescent powder to effectively absorb light energy through the woven layer and emit luminescence in the dark. The main purpose of the luminous woven tape structure of this invention is that it is not only suitable for shoelaces, but can also be widely used in other products that require improved visibility. By combining the flexible tape body with the woven layer, the durability, uniformity and operability of the luminous effect are achieved, providing consumers with a brand new option and achieving a good balance in safety, durability and fashion, thus meeting the diverse needs of modern consumers. The following description, in conjunction with the drawings of preferred embodiments of the present invention, is intended to enable those skilled in the art to implement the invention based on the statements herein. First, as shown in Figures 1 to 4, the luminous braided tape structure of the present invention comprises: a flexible tape body 10, a braided layer 20, and a core wire 30. The flexible strip 10 is made of a transparent flexible material, which is selected from silicone, thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer, or rubber, making the flexible strip 10 transparent. Luminous powder 11 is evenly distributed on the surface and inside of the flexible strip 10. The luminous powder 11 is added during the manufacturing process of the flexible strip 10 to ensure uniform mixing. The flexible strip 10 is elongated and has a circular cross-section. The flexible strip 10 not only has good flexibility but also effectively extends the service life of the luminous powder 11, ensuring that the overall luminous effect is uniform and long-lasting. The flexible strip 10 has a thickness T1, which is at least 1 millimeter (mm). The braided layer 20 is made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) or nylon and other multi-filament fibers, which are woven together to cover the outside of the flexible band 10 to form a tubular structure. It is tightly bonded to the flexible band 10. The braided layer 20 has a light transmittance of more than 50%, which allows the luminous powder 11 to absorb light energy while maintaining the flexibility and operability of the braided band. The light transmittance design allows light energy to penetrate the braided layer 20 and be absorbed by the luminous powder 11, thus emitting a long-lasting luminous effect in the dark. The core wire 30 is disposed inside the flexible belt 10, making the flexible belt 10 form a tubular structure. The flexible belt 10 has a tube thickness T2, which is at least 0.5 mm. The core wire 30 is a steel wire or a thread. The arrangement of the core wire 30 not only enhances the strength and durability of the flexible belt 10, but also effectively prevents the flexible belt 10 from deforming or breaking during use. This allows the entire braided belt to maintain a stable shape and performance when subjected to external forces, further improving the service life of the product. The luminescent woven strap structure of this invention is suitable for various occasions, such as outdoor sports, nighttime walking, and emergency rescue, providing excellent visibility in the dark and ensuring user safety. Furthermore, due to its excellent flexibility and durability, this woven strap can also be widely used in various decorations, handicrafts, and other products requiring luminescent effects, and is particularly suitable for use as shoelaces. Furthermore, as shown in Figures 5 to 8, this is another embodiment of the luminescent woven tape structure of the present invention. The difference between this other embodiment and the above embodiment is that the woven layer 20 has a light transmittance of more than 50% in some areas. Specifically, the woven layer 20 includes a light-transmitting portion 21 and an opaque portion 22. The light-transmitting portion 21 has a light transmittance of more than 50%, and the light-transmitting portion 21 and the opaque portion 22 are arranged alternately in a spaced-out manner. As shown in Figure 9, this is another embodiment of the luminous braided tape structure of the present invention. The difference between this embodiment and the above embodiment is that the flexible tape 10 is long and strip-shaped with a flat cross-section. The flexible tape 10 has a thickness T1, which is at least 1 millimeter (mm). The following benefits can be obtained from the structure of the above specific embodiments: This invention relates to a luminescent woven strap structure, which is not only suitable for shoelaces but can also be widely used in other products that require improved visibility. By combining the flexible strap body 10 with the woven layer 20, the luminescent effect is durable, uniform, and easy to operate, providing consumers with a brand-new option. Furthermore, the design of the woven layer 20 not only provides necessary protection but also maintains the flexibility of the woven strap, making the overall structure durable and able to resist wear and tear during daily use. Thus, it achieves a good balance between safety, durability, and fashion, meeting the diverse needs of modern consumers. 10: Flexible tape body; 11: Phosphorescent powder; 20: Braided layer; 21: Transparent part; 22: Opaque part; 30: Core wire; T1: Thickness; T2: Tube thickness A The first figure is a plan view of the present invention.
