Mounting assembly with limiting members to assist engaging mobile device

Abstract

A mounting assembly is provided with limiting members to assist engaging mobile device thereof, and comprises a carrier base, an engagement base, and a mounting member. The carrier base includes a carrying portion for supporting the mobile device and at least one engagement portion. The engagement base includes a base body with engagement slots, limiting members, unlocking members, and elastic members. The edge of the engagement slot includes at least one engagement area and at least one passable area, allowing the engagement portion to insert into the passable area and rotate into the engagement area for securing within the engagement slot. The limiting member, when in limiting position, extends partially into the passable area to assist engagement, and when in unlocking position, retracts from the passable area to disengage the assisted engagement. The unlocking member is used to move the limiting member to the unlocking position. The elastic member is used to return the limiting member to the limiting position. The mounting member is fixed to the engagement base for mounting onto a carrier.
