Bicycle pedal gauge

Abstract

This invention provides a pedal force meter for a bicycle capable of sensitively detecting pedal force. The pedal force meter 10 of this invention includes: a bearing 15; a strain gauge 20 including a first portion 21, a second portion 22, and a third portion 23 extending radially; a shaft 11 mounted on the strain gauge 20; a first strain sensor 31 mounted on the first portion 21; a second strain sensor 32 mounted on the second portion 22; a third strain sensor 33 mounted on the third portion 23; a first bridging circuit 400 including the first strain sensor 31; and a second bridging circuit 500 including the second strain sensor 32 and the third strain sensor 33. In the radial direction passing through the first portion 21, the second portion 22 and the third portion 23 are arranged opposite to the shaft 11 on the opposite side of the first portion 21. The first direction X of the strain detected by the first bridging circuit 400 is an intersecting direction or a different direction from the second direction Y of the strain detected by the second bridging circuit 500.
