PCB visual inspection device

Abstract

This invention relates to a PCB visual inspection device, comprising: a machine base with a platform in the center; a rotating platform disposed on the platform for supporting a PCB under test, which can rotate at four angles (0 / 90 / 180 / 270 degrees) on the platform; an X-axis programmable slide above the rotating platform, which includes a first CCD camera module with its lens facing downward toward the upper surface of the PCB under test and can be moved backward along the X-axis; and an XY-axis composite slide behind the rotating platform, which includes an X-axis linear slide rail and a Y-axis linear slide rail vertically disposed on the X-axis linear slide rail and extending horizontally toward the rotating platform, which can be moved left and right (X-axis) along the X-axis linear slide rail, and includes a second CCD camera module with its lens facing forward toward the side of the PCB under test and can be moved forward and backward (Y-axis) to adjust its distance from the side of the PCB under test. Accordingly, this invention requires only one rotating platform, equipped with two CCD camera modules and two sets of slides, to perform AOI inspection on the front, back, left, right and top surfaces of rectangular and non-rectangular PCBs. It has the advantages of simplified machine structure, high inspection efficiency and improved inspection accuracy.
