Optical self-detection device and optical self-detection method

Abstract

Optical self-detection device includes a case, a light source, a receiver, and a first light emitter. The light source is disposed in a first position. The receiver includes a camera lens and a sensor. The first light emitter is disposed at a second position, and the first position is different from the second position. During a lighting period, the light source outputs a lighting signal, and the sensor receives a distance measurement signal corresponding to the lighting signal. During a self-detection period, the light source stops outputting the lighting signal, the first light emitter outputs a first detection signal, and the sensor receives the first self-detection signal corresponding to the first detection signal and the cover glass. The first self-detection signal is related to a offset value of the camera lens. The self-detection period follows the lighting period.
