Abstract

A device for providing enhanced optical fiber snap-lock connectivity and / or reliability. The device may include am optical fiber snap-lock enclosure port mechanism, assembly, coupler, and / or other structure that may be configured to couple a port coupling portion with an enclosure port of an enclosure during operation. The device may include a latch portion that is configured to allow the port coupling portion to move between a coupled position, where the optical fiber snap-lock enclosure port coupler is configured to be biasingly prevented from being inadvertently de-coupled from the enclosure port during operation, and a de-coupled position, where the port coupling portion is de-coupled from the enclosure port and the optical fiber snap-lock enclosure port coupler is configured to be allowed to be de-coupled from the enclosure port during operation. The optical fiber snap-lock enclosure port mechanism, assembly, coupler and / or other structure may be configured to provide enhanced snap-lock connectivity between an optical fiber cable and the enclosure port by allowing a user to remove the optical fiber snap-lock port coupler from the enclosure port by de-coupling the latch portion from the enclosure port without requiring the user to use two hands in order de-couple the latch portion from the enclosure port and by causing the latch portion to biasingly prevent the optical fiber snap-lock enclosure port coupler from being unintentionally disconnected from the enclosure port during operation.
