Automatic focusing microscope device

Abstract

An autofocusing microscope apparatus is provided for focusing by adjusting the distance between itself and a stage. It includes an image capture device, an objective lens positioned in front of the image capture device, a first beam splitter positioned between the image capture device and the objective lens, an infrared light source, a reflector positioned on the opposite side of the light source, a second beam splitter positioned between the first beam splitter and the image capture device, a photosensor facing the second beam splitter, and a control unit connected to the photosensor. The reflector includes multiple functional parts that generate different optical path differences between two light rays. The photosensor detects a reference signal containing interference fringes and the generated peak values ​​relative to the relative positions of the functional parts, causing the control unit to automatically focus by moving the distance between itself and the objective lens based on the reference signal.
