Cascaded expansion dock and charging method thereof

Abstract

A cascaded expansion dock and a charging method thereof are provided. Adjusting power supplied to a first expansion dock and an electronic device based on power supply capability of the first expansion dock and power supply capability of an adapter. In response to that both the first expansion dock and the adapter are able to provide power, controlling a second power transfer controller circuit to communicate a power delivery protocol with a power transfer controller circuit of the electronic device, so as to increase power provided to the electronic device.
