Fixing frame and motherboard assembly

Abstract

A motherboard assembly for supporting a circuit board includes a motherboard and a fixing frame. The motherboard includes a substrate and an electrical connector, where the electrical connector is disposed on the substrate and is configured for the insertion of the circuit board. The fixing frame is an integrally formed component and includes two base portions, two elastic arm portions, and an operating portion. The two base portions are disposed on the substrate and are located at two opposite sides of the electrical connector. The two elastic arm portions are movably erected on the two base portions, with at least one of them including a limiting structure. The limiting structure is configured to contact one side of the circuit board located farther away from the electrical connector. The operating portion connects the two elastic arm portions. Each of the elastic arm portions includes a vertical part, an inclined part, a curved part and a horizontal part sequentially connected to one another. The vertical parts of the elastic arm portions are respectively connected to the base portions. The horizontal parts of the elastic arm portions are respectively connected to two opposite sides of the operating portion. The limiting structure is located at the horizontal part.
