Systems, methods, and apparatuses for network evolution based on arenas and genetic schema

Abstract

The present disclosure sets forth systems, apparatuses, and methods that enable the evolution of networks via genetic schemas. An example system determines a universe of valid mutations of a network, configures an environment to test network mutations against at least one criterion in at least one trial, generates, based on the network, based on randomized anomalies applied to at least one neuron or connection of the network, and based on the universe of valid mutations, a mutated network, deploys the mutated network within the environment for a first round having a first criterion and a first time duration, discards, based on the mutated network failing to satisfy the first criterion, the mutated network, and creates, based on the mutated network satisfying the first criterion, an updated network.
