The objective of this invention is to determine suitable operators for responding to equipment malfunctions. The information processing apparatus includes: a first acquisition unit that acquires first skill information of a plurality of operators related to responding to equipment malfunctions; a second acquisition unit that acquires second skill information required to respond to the equipment malfunction; a selection unit that, in the event of a equipment malfunction, selects at least one of the plurality of operators based on the first and second skill information; and a control unit that displays identification information of the selected at least one operator on a display unit.
