The frame of the instrument rack

Abstract

A frame for an instrument rack comprises: a main frame strip formed by stamping and bending a metal sheet, having a middle plate, a left side plate, and a right side plate located on the left and right sides of the middle plate, the middle plate, the left side plate, and the right side plate forming a hollow groove, the hollow groove having an opening at the end face corresponding to the end of the middle plate; and a reinforcing strip formed by stamping and bending a metal sheet, having a reinforcing cover plate and a left wing plate and a right wing plate extending from the left and right sides of the reinforcing cover plate, the reinforcing cover plate being separated from the left wing plate and the right wing plate by an inner hollow space. The left wing plate and the right wing plate are inserted into the hollow groove through the opening and adjacent to the left side plate and the right side plate, increasing the rigidity of the frame strip. The reinforcing cover plate is located at the opening, and the main frame strip and the reinforcing strip are joined together to form the frame strip by a bonding and fixing means. This allows the outer diameter of the frame to be changed according to customer needs, thereby adjusting the internal capacity of the instrument rack and increasing the rigidity of the frame.
