Insulated wires and their manufacturing methods and inductors and their manufacturing methods

Abstract

This invention provides an insulated wire comprising a substrate and an insulating layer covering the substrate. The substrate is formed of a conductive material, and the insulating layer is formed of an inorganic insulating material, wherein the porosity of the insulating layer is not higher than 20%. The insulated wire of this invention has good electrical insulation characteristics and high-temperature resistance, making it suitable for forming single-turn or multi-turn coils for use in manufacturing integrally molded inductors. This invention also provides a method for manufacturing the insulated wire, an integrally molded inductor made using the insulated wire, and a method for manufacturing the integrally molded inductor.
