Abstract

A method of manufacturing a toroid is disclosed. The method comprises unspooling a strip from a first spool. The strip has a longitudinal axis. The method comprises, during unspooling, cutting the strip into a first oval having one axis of symmetry, wherein the one axis of symmetry is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the strip. The method comprises winding the first oval onto a second spool to form the toroid.
