Abstract

A conductive contact element (1) for making electrical contact with a conductive mating member (17) includes a base section (2) and at least one contact arm (3) protruding away from the base section (2), the contact arm having an upper surface (4), a lower surface (5) and a side surface (6) that connects the upper surface (4) and the lower surface (5) together, wherein the at least one contact arm (3) has a first arm segment (7) and a second arm segment (8) extending along a first arm axis (A1) and a curved section (9) located between the two arm segments (7, 8), and wherein the curved section (9) is configured such that the second arm segment (8) is curved about a curved axis (B) relative to the first arm segment (7), and the side surface (6) provides a contact area (10) for electrical contact with the conductive mating member (17). none
