Electrical connector

Abstract

An electric connector having an outer shell, a terminal assembly, a plugging member, and a locking member is provided. The outer shell has an accommodated groove, a mounting port, and a plugging slot and defines a mounting direction and a plug-lock direction interlaced with each other. The mounting port and the plugging slot are respectively communicated to the accommodated groove along the mounting direction and the plug-lock direction. The terminal assembly is arranged in the accommodated groove. The plugging member is arranged correspondingly to the mounting direction along the mounting direction and has a fixing portion accommodated in the mounting port. The locking member is inserted in the plugging slot along the plug-lock direction to lock the plugging member such that the terminal assembly is fixed between the outer shell and the plugging member. The plugging member is therefore fixing on the outer shell without moving through limitation of the mounting port with the locking member.
