First electrical connector and connector assembly

Abstract

A first electrical connector includes a mounting frame, a shielding assembly and a terminal module. The shielding assembly includes a first shielding sheet assembly, a second shielding sheet assembly, a third shielding sheet assembly and a fourth shielding sheet assembly. The first shielding sheet assembly and the second shielding sheet assembly are both vertically interposed with the third shielding sheet assembly and the fourth shielding sheet assembly to form a plurality of shielding units. Each shielding unit includes an accommodation space in which the terminal module is received. The present invention also discloses a connector assembly having the first electrical connector. Compared with the prior art, the present invention is conducive to increasing density and improving the ability of signal transmission.
