Power conversion circuit having multiple hybrid switched-capacitor converters and control method thereof

Abstract

A power conversion circuit having multiple hybrid switched-capacitor converters and a control method is disclosed. The circuit converts an input voltage to a first and a second output voltages, and includes first and second hybrid converters and an intermediate capacitor. The first converter includes a switched-capacitor division circuit with first to fourth switches connected in series, and a flying capacitor connected across the second and third switches. According to a first PWM signal set, the first inductor is alternately magnetized and demagnetized to generate the first output voltage. The second hybrid switched-capacitor converter includes a second switched-capacitor division circuit and a second inductor to generate the second output voltage. The intermediate capacitor cooperates with the first and second flying capacitors to perform switched-capacitor operations.
