Abstract

The objective of this invention is to more easily achieve real-time synchronization. The communication system of this invention includes: a first communication device that aggregates and stores image and audio data in a CSI-2 packet based on the CSI-2 specification, and transmits the CSI-2 packet according to the CSI-2 specification; and a second communication device that receives the CSI-2 packet and separates the image and audio data. Then, using the I2C specification, the transmitting side of the CSI-2 packet and the receiving side of the CSI-2 packet are synchronized in time. This technology can be applied, for example, to communication systems that transmit image and audio data.
