Method, apparatus and system for wireless communication

Abstract

In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE. The UE starts a non-access stratum (NAS) timer in response to a failure of a first NAS signaling procedure with a first cell in a non-terrestrial network (NTN). The UE detects a second cell while the NAS timer is running. The second cell has a second identity different from a first identity of the first cell. The UE initiates a second NAS signaling procedure with the second cell based on the second identity differing from the first identity.
