Target wake time parameter renegotiation

Abstract

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first peripheral device may receive target wake time (TWT) information and an associated identifier (AID) for a second peripheral device. The first peripheral device may monitor for data for the second peripheral device using the AID of the second peripheral device, based on a determination, from the TWT information, that a second sleep duration of a second TWT of the second peripheral device is greater than a first sleep duration of a first TWT of the first peripheral device. The first peripheral device may renegotiate the first TWT with a central device to obtain a new first TWT. The first peripheral device may monitor, using the new first TWT, for a beacon having data for the second peripheral device based on the AID of the second peripheral device.
