A communication method and a communication apparatus

Abstract

This application supports IEEE protocols, such as the IEEE 802.11be / WiFi7 / EHT protocol, IEEE 802.11bn / UHR / WiFi8 protocol, Integrated mmWave / Integrated Millimeter Wave / IMMW protocol, IEEE 802.15 / UWB protocol, or IEEE 802.11bf / sensing protocol. This application provides a communication method and a communication apparatus. The communication method includes: receiving first indication information, where the first indication information is used to indicate a receiving mode corresponding to first data, the receiving mode includes a first mode or a second mode, the first mode and the second mode have different communication parameters, and the power consumption of the first mode is greater than that of the second mode; and receiving the first data using the receiving mode. In the foregoing technical solution, flexibility in controlling the working mode of the receiving device can be improved.
