Abstract
Description
slide rail mechanism This invention relates to a slide rail mechanism, and more particularly to a slide rail mechanism that can be activated by an operating member to have a synchronous displacement function for two rail components. Generally, a slide mechanism typically includes a first rail and a second rail. The first rail can be used to mount to a rack or cabinet, and the second rail can be used to support specific items (such as electronic devices or drawers). US Patent 9,763,352 B2 discloses a first hard drive drawer 160 and a second hard drive drawer 150 arranged at the front and rear of the same rack space. In use, while the first hard drive drawer 160 and the second hard drive drawer 150 can be moved independently outside the rack, this configuration presents a challenge when installed in an EIA standard rack or an OCP open rack. If the rack is filled with electronic equipment along its height, and each rack layer is arranged with front and rear electronic equipment (e.g., hard drives, switches, or other electronic devices), and only the front electronic equipment (e.g., an U or OU-high device) is moved outside for removal or maintenance, the operating space for a U or OU is extremely limited. Consequently, the rear electronic equipment located behind the front device is difficult to pull from the rear of the rack to the front for subsequent removal or maintenance. Therefore, given the varying market demands, developing an innovative slide rail product has become a topic worthy of discussion. This invention relates to a slide rail mechanism that can be activated by an operating element to enable synchronous displacement of two rail components. According to one aspect of the present invention, a slide rail mechanism includes a fixed rail, a movable rail, a support rail, a locking member, a predetermined structure, and an operating member. The movable rail and the support rail are longitudinally displaceable relative to the fixed rail; the locking member is movably mounted on one of the support rail and the movable rail; the predetermined structure is arranged on the other of the support rail and the movable rail; wherein, when the operating member is operated from a first predetermined position to a second predetermined position, the locking member moves from a first state to a second state, causing the locking member to lock the predetermined structure, so that when the movable rail is displaced in a predetermined direction, the movable rail synchronously drives the support rail. According to another aspect of the present invention, a slide rail mechanism includes a fixed rail, a movable rail, a support rail, a locking element, a predetermined structure, and an operating element. The movable rail and the support rail are longitudinally displaceable relative to the fixed rail; the locking member is movably installed on one of the support rail and the movable rail; the predetermined structure is arranged on the other of the support rail and the movable rail; wherein the movable rail and the support rail can be in a first retracted position and a second retracted position relative to the fixed rail, respectively; wherein when the movable rail is in the first retracted position and the operating member is in a first predetermined position, the movable rail can be displaced from the first retracted position to an opening direction, and the movable rail will not drive the support rail to displace from the second retracted position to the opening direction; wherein when the movable rail is in the first retracted position and the operating member is operated from the first predetermined position to a second predetermined position, the locking member moves from a first state to a second state, causing the locking member to lock the predetermined structure, so as to provide that when the movable rail displaces from the first retracted position to the opening direction, the movable rail synchronously drives the support rail to displace from the second retracted position to the opening direction. Overall, this operating component can be used to activate the synchronous displacement function of the two slide rails. 20: Slide rail mechanism 22: First slide rail assembly 24: Second slide rail assembly 26: Fixed rail 26a, 32a, 40a, 56a, 30a: First end 26b, 32b, 40b, 56b, 30b: Second end 28: First Middle Track 30: Activity Track 31: Reservations Department 32: Support rail 33: Drive Unit 34: Second Middle Track 36: Auxiliary rail 38: Support component 40: Wings 42: Card / Contractor 43a: First extension 43b: Second extension 44: Pre-defined structure 46: Axis 47: Card-operated section 48: Elasticity characteristics 50: Workpiece 52: Auxiliary elastic components 54: Shaft 56: Operating components 58: Bracket 59: Rack Mounting Features 60: First protruding part 62: First longitudinal elongated hole 63: Extension rack 64:convex part 66: Longitudinal hole 67: Blocking characteristics 68: Button 69: Extension 70: Fasteners 72: Connecting part 74: Elastic part 76: Deduction 78: Unlocking the Sequence 78a: First Guiding Feature 78b: Second guidance feature 80: First auxiliary feature 82: Second auxiliary feature 84: Regression Spring 86: Locks 87: Second longitudinal elongated hole 88: Fixing part 89: Second protrusion 90: Flexible Arm 92: Lock section 93: Guiding Section 94: Pre-determined components 96:Wall 98: Location Features 100: Work Department 102: Column 104: First load-bearing object 106: Second load-bearing structure D1: Predetermined direction D2: Another predetermined direction E1: First extension position E2: Second extension position F: Strength J: Work Location K1: Locked state K2: Unlocked L1, L1': First side L2,L2': Second side M1: First Space M2: Second Space P1: First reserved location P2: Second reserved location R1: First closing position R2: Second closing position r1: First predetermined rotation direction r2: Second predetermined rotation direction S1: First State S2: Second State T: Pre-order horizontal W1: First working state W2: Second working state Figure 1 shows a first-view perspective perspective of a slide rail mechanism comprising a plurality of slide rails according to one embodiment of the present invention; Figure 2 shows an exploded view of a first slide rail assembly and a second slide rail assembly of the slide rail mechanism according to one embodiment of the present invention; Figure 3 shows an exploded view of the second slide rail assembly according to one embodiment of the present invention; Figure 4 shows an exploded schematic diagram of the first slide rail assembly according to one embodiment of the present invention; Figure 5 shows a perspective view of the slide rail mechanism according to one embodiment of the present invention from a second perspective; Figure 6 is an enlarged schematic diagram of region A in Figure 5; Figure 7 shows a perspective view of the slide rail mechanism of one embodiment of the present invention in the first view and the operating member in a first predetermined position; Figure 8 shows a perspective view of the slide rail mechanism of one embodiment of the present invention in the first view and the operating member in a second predetermined position; Figure 9 shows a perspective view of the slide rail mechanism of one embodiment of the present invention in the second view and the operating member in the second predetermined position; Figure 10 is an enlarged schematic diagram of region A in Figure 9; Figure 11 shows a schematic diagram of the slide rail mechanism of one embodiment of the present invention in the second view, and the second slide rail assembly and the first slide rail assembly moving synchronously in a predetermined direction. Figure 18 shows a schematic diagram of the slide rail mechanism of one embodiment of the present invention in the first view and the second slide rail assembly in the extended state; Figure 19 shows a schematic diagram of the slide rail mechanism according to one embodiment of the present invention in the first view, with the first slide rail assembly in an extended state and the second slide rail assembly in a retracted state; and Figure 20 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the present invention, in which the slide rail mechanism can be installed on a frame, and the first slide rail assembly and the second slide rail assembly can respectively carry a first carrier and a second carrier. As shown in Figures 1 and 2, a slide rail mechanism 20 according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a plurality of slide rails. Here, the slide rail mechanism 20 is exemplified by including a first slide rail assembly 22 and a second slide rail assembly 24, but the implementation is not limited to this. The second slide rail assembly 24 is movably mounted on the first slide rail assembly 22. The length of the first slide rail assembly 22 is greater than the length of the second slide rail assembly 24. The first slide rail assembly 22 includes a fixed rail 26, a first middle rail 28, and a movable rail 30 that are longitudinally displaceable relative to each other, with the first middle rail 28 movably mounted between the fixed rail 26 and the movable rail 30. Here, the X-axis direction is longitudinal (or the length direction of the slide rail), the Y-axis direction is transverse (or the side direction of the slide rail), and the Z-axis direction is vertical (or the height direction of the slide rail). Further, the fixed rail 26 has a slide rail channel to accommodate the first middle rail 28, and the first middle rail 28 has a first middle rail channel to accommodate the movable rail 30. Preferably, the fixed rail 26 has a first end 26a and a second end 26b positioned opposite each other, for example, a front end and a rear end, and a predetermined portion 31 is arranged adjacent to the first end 26a of the fixed rail 26. As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the second slide rail assembly 24 includes a support rail 32, a second middle rail 34, and an auxiliary rail 36, which are longitudinally displaceable relative to each other. The second middle rail 34 is movably mounted between the support rail 32 and the auxiliary rail 36. The support rail 32 of the second slide rail assembly 24 is movably mounted on the fixed rail 26 of the first slide rail assembly 22. Furthermore, the support rail 32 has a support channel to accommodate the second middle rail 34, and the second middle rail 34 has a second middle rail channel to accommodate the auxiliary rail 36. Preferably, the second slide rail assembly 24 further includes a support member 38 that connects (e.g., is fixed to) the support rail 32, and the support member 38 and the support rail 32 can be considered as one unit; the support rail 32 of the second slide rail assembly 24 is movably mounted on the fixed rail 26 of the first slide rail assembly 22 through the support member 38. Furthermore, the support member 38 has a pair of wings 40 for holding the fixed rail 26 of the first slide rail assembly 22. The length of the fixed rail 26 is greater than the length of the support rail 32. The slide rail mechanism 20 includes a locking element 42 and a predetermined structure 44. The locking element 42 is movably mounted on the support rail 32, and the predetermined structure 44 is arranged on the movable rail 30, but the implementation is not limited. Preferably, the locking element 42 is pivotally connected to the support rail 32 via a shaft 46; the predetermined structure 44 is a protrusion, here taking a protruding post or a pin as an example. Preferably, the latching member 42 includes a first extension 43a, a second extension 43b, and a latching part 47, each extending a predetermined distance away from the axis 46. The latching part 47 may be, for example, a hook, but is not limited to this implementation. Preferably, the slide rail mechanism 20 further includes an elastic feature 48 arranged in the support rail 32, and the elastic feature 48 is used to provide elastic force to the latch 42. The elastic feature 48 is, for example, an elastic foot, a spring, or other object with elasticity, and is not limited in implementation. Preferably, the support rail 32 has a first side L1 and a second side L2 that are positioned opposite each other, such as a back side and a front side. The first side L1 of the support rail 32 faces the first slide rail assembly 22, while the second middle rail 34 and the auxiliary rail 36 are located on the second side L2 of the support rail 32. Preferably, the support rail 32 has a first end 32a and a second end 32b that are positioned opposite each other, for example, a front end and a rear end; the latching member 42 is located on the first side L1 of the support rail 32 and is adjacent to the first end 32a of the support rail 32. Preferably, the second slide rail assembly 24 further includes a working member 50 and an auxiliary elastic member 52. The working member 50 is movably mounted on the support rail 32, for example, the working member 50 is pivotally connected to the support rail 32 via a shaft portion 54, and the working member 50 is adjacent to the second end 32b of the support rail 32. The auxiliary elastic member 52 is used to provide elastic force to the working member 50. The auxiliary elastic member 52 is, for example, an elastic object such as a spring or a sheet spring, and is not limited in implementation. Preferably, the wing 40 of the support member 38 has a first end 40a and a second end 40b positioned opposite each other. As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the slide rail mechanism 20 further includes an operating member 56. More specifically, the fixed rail 26 of the first slide rail assembly 22 has a first side L1' and a second side L2' positioned opposite each other, for example, a back side and a front side. The movable rail 30 (and the first middle rail 28) is located on the second side L2' of the fixed rail 26. The operating member 56 is located on the fixed rail 26; for example, the operating member 56 is movably mounted on the first side L1' of the fixed rail 26. Preferably, the first slide rail assembly 22 further includes a bracket 58 that connects (e.g., fixes) the fixed rail 26 to reinforce the structural strength of the fixed rail 26. The bracket 58 and the fixed rail 26 can be considered as one unit, and the bracket 58 is arranged with a plurality of rack mounting features 59, which have a predetermined longitudinal distance from each other. Preferably, the operating member 56 is movably mounted between the fixed rail 26 and the bracket 58. The operating member 56 is, for example, an extension or rod with a predetermined longitudinal length, and the operating member 56 and the fixed rail 26 have corresponding limiting features. For example, the operating member 56 has a first longitudinal elongated hole 62, and a first protrusion 60 (e.g., a nail or pin) passes through the first longitudinal elongated hole 62 to connect (e.g., fix) to an extension bracket 63 on the fixed rail 26. On the other hand, the bracket 58 and the operating member 56 have at least one corresponding limiting structure. For example, the operating member 56 has a longitudinal hole 66, and a protrusion 64 on the bracket 58 passes through the longitudinal hole 66. Accordingly, the operating member 56 can move longitudinally relative to the fixed rail 26 and the bracket 58 within a limited range. Preferably, the operating member 56 has a first end 56a and a second end 56b positioned opposite each other, such as a front end and a rear end, wherein the first longitudinal elongated hole 62 is located adjacent to the first end 56a of the operating member 56, and the operating member 56 is provided with a blocking feature 67 located adjacent to the second end 56b. Preferably, the operating member 56 is further provided with at least one drive part 33, and the drive part 33 is located between the first end 56a and the second end 56b of the operating member 56. Preferably, the slide rail mechanism 20 further includes a return spring 84 to provide a return force to the operating member 56. The two ends of the return spring 84 are respectively connected to the operating member 56 and the bracket 58. Preferably, the slide rail mechanism 20 further includes a button 68. The button 68 is used to allow the user to operate the operating element 56. Preferably, the movable rail 30 has a first end 30a and a second end 30b that are positioned opposite each other, for example, a front end and a rear end; the button 68 is movably mounted to the first end 30a adjacent to the movable rail 30, for example, the button 68 is mounted to an extension 69 of the first end 30a of the movable rail 30, but the implementation is not limited. As shown in Figures 5 and 6, the bracket 58 is provided with a fastener 70, which is, for example, an elastic object (e.g., a spring), but is not limited in implementation. The fastener 70 includes a connecting portion 72 and an elastic portion 74 extending from the connecting portion 72. The connecting portion 72 is connected (e.g., fixed) to the bracket 58, and the elastic portion 74 is provided with a fastening segment 76 and a release segment 78 adjacent to the fastening segment 76. The fastening segment 76 is, for example, a hook, and the release segment 78 is, for example, a protrusion. The release segment 78 has a first guide feature 78a and a second guide feature 78b positioned opposite each other. The first guide feature 78a and the second guide feature 78b are, for example, inclined surfaces or arc surfaces. On the other hand, the operating member 56 is provided with at least one auxiliary feature for use with the fastening segment 76 of the fastener 70. Here, a first auxiliary feature 80 and a second auxiliary feature 82 are used as an example, and the first auxiliary feature 80 and the second auxiliary feature 82 are both holes or grooves defined by a plurality of hole walls, but the implementation is not limited. Preferably, the bracket 58 is provided with a locking member 86, which is, for example, an elastic object (e.g., a spring), but is not limited in implementation. The locking member 86 includes a fixing portion 88 and an elastic arm 90 extending from the fixing portion 88; the fixing portion 88 is connected (e.g., fixed) to the bracket 58, and the elastic arm 90 is provided with a locking portion 92. Preferably, the bracket 58 has a first space M1 and a second space M2, and the position of the elastic part 74 of the fastener 70 and the position of the elastic arm 90 of the lock 86 correspond to the first space M1 and the second space M2 respectively, thereby facilitating the movement (e.g., swinging) of the elastic part 74 and the elastic arm 90. Preferably, when the operating member 56 is in a first predetermined position P1, the driving portion 33 of the operating member 56 is adjacent to the elastic arm 90 of the locking member 86. The driving portion 33 has a guide section 93 corresponding to or facing the elastic arm 90 of the locking member 86, for example, a slope or arc surface (as shown in FIG6). As shown in Figure 7, the support rail 32 of the second slide rail assembly 24 is movably mounted to the fixed rail 26 of the first slide rail assembly 22 via the wing 40 of the support member 38. Both the first slide rail assembly 22 and the second slide rail assembly 24 are in a retracted state. Furthermore, the movable rail 30 can be in a first retracted position R1 relative to the fixed rail 26, and the support rail 32 can be in a second retracted position R2 relative to the fixed rail 26. Additionally, the button 68 is adjacent to the operating member 56 located at the first predetermined position P1, allowing the user to easily operate the operating member 56. The button 68 and the extension member 69 have corresponding limiting features. For example, the button 68 has a second longitudinal elongated hole 87, and a second protrusion 89 (e.g., a nail or pin) passes through the second longitudinal elongated hole 87 and is connected (e.g., fixed) to the extension member 69 on the movable rail 30. Furthermore, when the movable rail 30 and the support rail 32 are respectively in the first retracted position R1 and the second retracted position R2 relative to the fixed rail 26, and the operating member 56 is in the first predetermined position P1, the locking member 42 is in a first state S1, and the locking part 47 of the locking member 42 in the first state S1 cannot (have not yet) lock the predetermined structure 44 on the movable rail 30. Preferably, when the movable rail 30 and the support rail 32 are respectively in the first retracted position R1 and the second retracted position R2 relative to the fixed rail 26, and the operating member 56 is in the first predetermined position P1, the blocking feature 67 of the operating member 56 is used to block the first extension 43a of the locking member 42, so that the locking member 42 is restricted and kept in the first state S1. At this time, the elastic feature 48 accumulates an elastic force. Preferably, when the movable rail 30 and the support rail 32 are respectively in the first retracted position R1 and the second retracted position R2 relative to the fixed rail 26, and the operating member 56 is in the first predetermined position P1, the locking member 86 is in a locked state K1, which can be used to lock one of the auxiliary rail 36 and the support rail 32. Here, locking the auxiliary rail 36 is taken as an example. Furthermore, the auxiliary rail 36 is provided with a predetermined member 94. The predetermined member 94 can be an additional member connected (fixed) to the auxiliary rail 36, or the predetermined member 94 can be directly formed to the auxiliary rail 36, which is not limited in implementation. The locking part 92 of the locking member 86 in the locked state K1 can be used to lock the predetermined member 94 of the auxiliary rail 36 to prevent the auxiliary rail 36 and the support rail 32 from displacing in a predetermined direction D1 (e.g., the opening direction) (this part can be referred to in conjunction with Figure 6). Preferably, when the operating member 56 is in the first predetermined position P1, the fastening segment 76 of the fastener 70 is engaged with the first auxiliary feature 80 (this part can be referred to in Figure 6). As shown in Figures 8, 9, and 10, when there is a need for synchronization of the slide rails, the user can operate the operating member 56 from the first predetermined position P1 to a second predetermined position P2 to activate the synchronization function of the slide rails. For example, when the operating member 56 is operated from the first predetermined position P1 to the second predetermined position P2, the locking member 42 responds to the release of the elastic force of the elastic feature 48, causing the locking member 42 to move from the first state S1 (e.g., pivoting in a first predetermined rotation direction r1, as shown in Figure 8) to a second state S2. In the second state S2, the locking part 47 of the locking member 42 engages the predetermined structure 44 on the movable rail 30, so that when the movable rail 30 moves from the first retracted position R1 to the predetermined direction D1, the movable rail 30 synchronously drives the support rail 32 to move longitudinally from the second retracted position R2 to the predetermined direction D1. Preferably, when the operating member 56 is operated from the first predetermined position P1 to the second predetermined position P2, the blocking feature 67 of the operating member 56 no longer obstructs the first extension 43a of the latching member 42, so that the latching member 42 is no longer restricted and can respond to the release of the elastic force of the elastic feature 48, thus being able to move from the first state S1 to the second state S2. Here, the user can apply the force F to the button 68 (as shown in FIG8) to drive the operating member 56 from the first predetermined position P1 to another predetermined direction D2 (e.g., the closing direction) opposite to the predetermined direction D1 to the second predetermined position P2. Preferably, when the operating member 56 is in the second predetermined position P2, the fastening segment 76 of the fastener 70 engages the second auxiliary feature 82 to prevent the operating member 56 from returning from the second predetermined position P2 to the predetermined direction D1 to the first predetermined position P1 (as shown in FIG. 10). At this time, the return spring 84 is used to accumulate the return force (as shown in FIG. 9). Preferably, the fastening segment 76 of the fastener 70 has a guide surface (e.g., a slope or an arc surface), which helps the operating member 56 to move from the first predetermined position P1 to the second predetermined position P2. During this process, the fastening segment 76 forms a sliding contact with the wall of the first auxiliary feature 80 through the guide surface, making it easy to leave the first auxiliary feature 80. The fastening segment 76 also engages the second auxiliary feature 82 in response to the elastic force of the elastic part 74. Preferably, when the operating member 56 is operated from the first predetermined position P1 to the second predetermined position P2, the driving part 33 of the operating member 56 drives the elastic arm 90 of the locking member 86 to move from the locked state K1 to the unlocked state K2 in a predetermined lateral direction T (or in the direction of the second space M2), so that the locking part 92 of the locking member 86 no longer locks the predetermined member 94 of the auxiliary rail 36, thereby allowing the movable rail 30 to synchronously drive the support rail 32 to move in the predetermined direction D1. As shown in Figures 11 to 14, when the movable rail 30 moves synchronously with the support rail 32 in the predetermined direction D1, one of the support rail 32 and the support member 38, such as the first end 40a of the wing portion 40 of the support member 38 (but not limited to), will contact the first guide feature 78a of the release section 78 of the fastener 70 (as shown in Figure 12), allowing the elastic portion 74 of the fastener 70 to move in the predetermined lateral direction T (or in the direction of the first space M1), so that the fastener section 76 can release from the second auxiliary feature 82, thereby allowing the operating member 56 to return from the second predetermined position P2 (as shown in Figures 11 and 12) in the predetermined direction D1 to the first predetermined position P1 (as shown in Figures 13 and 14). Preferably, the operating element 56 returns from the second predetermined position P2 (as shown in Figures 11 and 12) to the first predetermined position P1 (as shown in Figures 13 and 14) in the predetermined direction D1 by the release of the return force of the return spring 84. As shown in Figures 15 and 16, when the movable rail 30 continues to move synchronously with the support rail 32 in the predetermined direction D1, the second extension 43b of the locking member 42 will contact the predetermined part 31 on the fixed rail 26 and generate a force, causing the locking member 42 to move from the second state S2 (as shown in Figure 15) (for example, to pivot in a second predetermined rotation direction r2 opposite to the first predetermined rotation direction r1, as shown in Figure 16) to the first state S1, so that the locking part 47 of the locking member 42 is released from the predetermined structure 44 on the movable rail 30, thereby releasing the synchronous displacement relationship between the movable rail 30 and the support rail 32 in the predetermined direction D1. Preferably, the working part 50 is pre-positioned against one of the walls 96 of the bracket 58 and the fixed rail 26 to maintain a first working state W1 (as shown in FIG. 15). At this time, the auxiliary elastic member 52 accumulates an auxiliary elastic force. One of the bracket 58 and the fixed rail 26 is provided with a positioning feature 98, which is, for example, a hole or groove defined by a plurality of walls, and a working part 100 of the working part 50 in the first working state W1 has a longitudinal distance from the positioning feature 98. As shown in Figure 17, when the synchronous displacement relationship between the movable rail 30 and the support rail 32 in the predetermined direction D1 is released, the movable rail 30 and the first middle rail 28 can be opened and displaced relative to the fixed rail 26 in the predetermined direction D1. For example, the movable rail 30 can be displaced to a first extended position E1 (e.g., a fully extended position), so that the first slide rail assembly 22 is in an extended state. Accordingly, it is convenient for the user to perform maintenance work on the movable rail 30 and the first load (not shown) it carries. On the other hand, the second slide rail assembly 24 remains in the retracted state. When the support rail 32 is displaced in the predetermined direction D1 to a working position J, the working member 50 responds to the auxiliary elastic member 52 to release the auxiliary elastic force, which can move from the first working state W1 to a second working state W2, so that the working part 100 of the working member 50 is engaged with the positioning feature 98, so that the support rail 32 is held in the working position J. As shown in Figures 17 and 18, the movable rail 30 of the first slide rail assembly 22 can be unloaded from the first middle rail channel of the first middle rail 28 from the first extension position E1 (as shown in Figure 17) in the predetermined direction D1 (as shown in Figure 18). On the other hand, when the support rail 32 of the second slide rail assembly 24 is in the working position J, the auxiliary rail 36 and the second middle rail 34 can be opened and displaced relative to the support rail 32 in the predetermined direction D1. For example, the auxiliary rail 36 can be displaced to a second extension position E2 (e.g., the fully extended position), so that the second slide rail assembly 24 is in an extended state (as shown in FIG18). Accordingly, it is convenient for the user to perform maintenance work on the auxiliary rail 36 and the second load (not shown) it carries. Preferably, the auxiliary rail 36 of the second slide rail assembly 24 can be unloaded from the second middle rail channel of the second middle rail 34 from the second extension position E2 in the predetermined direction D1. As shown in Figures 7 and 19, when there is no synchronization requirement for the slide rail, the user does not need to operate the operating member 56; simply placing the operating member 56 in the first predetermined position P1 is sufficient. Furthermore, when the movable rail 30 is in the first retracted position R1 and the operating member 56 is in the first predetermined position P1 (as shown in Figure 7), the movable rail 30 can move from the first retracted position R1 towards the predetermined direction D1, for example, to the first extended position E1 (as shown in Figure 19). The movable rail 30 will not cause the support rail 32 to move from the second retracted position R2 towards the predetermined direction D1. Preferably, as described above, the locking member 86 in the locked state K1 can be used to lock and prevent the auxiliary rail 36 and the support rail 32 from moving towards the predetermined direction D1. In short, in this embodiment, when there is no synchronization requirement for the slide rails, the operating member 56 is in the first predetermined position P1. At this time, only the movable rail 30 and the first middle rail 28 of the first slide rail assembly 22 can be moved relative to the fixed rail 26 from the first retracted position R1 to the predetermined direction D1 to the first extended position E1. Meanwhile, the auxiliary rail 36, the second middle rail 34, and the support rail 32 of the second slide rail assembly 24 are locked by the locking member 86 in the locked state K1 and remain in the second retracted position R2 (as shown in Figure 19). As shown in Figure 20, the fixed rail 26 can be used to be mounted to at least a pair of columns 102 of a rack or cabinet via the rack mounting feature 59 of the bracket 58. Furthermore, the movable rail 30 of the first slide rail assembly 22 is used to support the first support 104, and the auxiliary rail 36 of the second slide rail assembly 24 is used to support the second support 106. The first support 104 and the second support 106 are, for example, electronic devices, but are not limited in implementation. The slide rail mechanism 20 has the aforementioned related functions, such as allowing the user to choose whether to activate the synchronous displacement function of the two rail components (movable rail 30 and support rail 32) by operating the operating element 56 as needed. These functions and their related principles have been disclosed above and will not be repeated here for the sake of simplicity. Therefore, the slide rail mechanism 20 provided in the embodiment of the present invention has the following feature: the user can decide whether to activate the synchronous displacement function of the two rail components (e.g., the movable rail 30 and the support rail 32) through the operating member 56 as needed. For example, when the movable rail 30 is in the first retracted position R1, and the operating member 56 is operated from the first predetermined position P1 to the second predetermined position P2, the locking member 42 moves from the first state S1 to the second state S2, causing the locking member 42 to lock the predetermined structure 44. This allows the movable rail 30 to move from the first retracted position R1 to the predetermined direction D1, and simultaneously drive the support rail 32 to move from the second retracted position R2 to the predetermined direction D1. Alternatively, when the movable rail 30 is in the first retracted position R1 and the operating member 56 is in the first predetermined position P1, the movable rail 30 can move independently from the first retracted position R1 to the predetermined direction D1, and the movable rail 30 will not drive the support rail 32 to move from the second retracted position R2 to the predetermined direction D1. With the aforementioned configuration of the present invention, when used in a cabinet, even if the operating space of a U or OU in the cabinet is extremely small, the front and rear electronic devices located on the same layer in the cabinet can still be easily removed or maintained. Although the present invention has been disclosed with reference to the foregoing preferred embodiments, it is not intended to limit the present invention. Therefore, the scope of protection of the present invention shall be determined by the appended claims. 20: Slide rail mechanism 22: First slide rail assembly 24: Second slide rail assembly 26: Fixed rail 28: First Middle Track 30: Activity Track 31: Reservations Department 32: Support rail 34: Second Middle Track 36: Auxiliary rail 38: Support component 40: Wings 40a: First end 40b: Second end 42: Card / Contractor 43a: First extension 43b: Second extension 44: Pre-defined structure 46: Axis 47: Card-operated section 48: Elasticity characteristics 50: Workpiece 54: Shaft 56: Operating components 58: Bracket 63: Extension rack 67: Blocking characteristics 68: Button 69: Extension 86: Locks 87: Second longitudinal elongated hole 89: Second protrusion 92: Lock section 94: Pre-determined components 98: Location Features K1: Locked state S1: First State R1: First closing position R2: Second closing position P1: First reserved location D1: Predetermined direction
